It Didn’t Start with Yoga… It Started with Feeling Off
Before Unfukked Body Mind & Soul was a business… It was a necessity.
There was a point where I just didn’t feel right in my own body.
Not in a dramatic, something-is-clearly-wrong way.
But in that quieter, more frustrating way.
Low energy.
Brain fog.
Feeling off, but not being able to fully explain it.
Running through the day on whatever was quick, convenient, or just enough to get by.And like a lot of people, I just kept going.
Because that’s what we do.
The “Push Through It” Phase
For a long time, I thought the answer was to just push harder.
More structure.
More discipline.
More “get it together.”
But the more I pushed, the more I realized…
You can’t outwork a body that’s under-supported.
You can’t mindset your way out of physical depletion.
And you definitely can’t expect your nervous system to stay calm when it’s running on empty.
Where Things Started to Shift
The shift didn’t come from doing something extreme.
It came from starting small.
Paying attention to:
what I was drinking
what I was eating
how my body responded
what actually helped me feel better (not just what I thought should)
That’s where holistic health started to click for me.
Not as a trend.
Not as a perfect lifestyle.
But as real-life support.
Learning Wasn’t Optional — It Became Personal
As I started feeling those small shifts, I also realized something important:
I didn’t just want to guess my way through feeling better.
I wanted to understand it.
Why certain things worked.
Why some didn’t.
What was actually happening in the body and mind.
That curiosity turned into years of continued education and certifications—diving deeper into yoga, functional medicine, mindfulness-based stress reduction, trauma-informed practices, and the mind-body connection as a whole.
Not to collect titles.
But to make sure that what I was experiencing—and what I was sharing—was grounded in something real, safe, and effective.
Because when you’ve felt off yourself, you don’t want surface-level answers.
You want support that’s not only relatable… but responsible.
Support that understands:
how the nervous system responds to stress
how trauma can live in the body
how growth, healing, and energy aren’t one-size-fits-all
And that’s what this evolved into.
Not just feeling better myself…
But being able to meet other people where they are, whether they’re just starting or working through something deeper.
This Is Where Unfukked Came From
Unfukked Body Mind & Soul wasn’t built from perfection.
It was built from figuring things out in real time…
And then choosing to learn how to support it properly.
Learning how to:
support energy
regulate the nervous system
stop running on empty
and actually feel like yourself again
And then being able to guide others through that same process—whether their starting point looks like mine or something completely different.
Why I’m Starting This Series
There’s a lot of information out there about health and wellness.
And honestly?
Most of it feels overwhelming. Between paid influencers and well-intentioned but uneducated social media posts, it’s easy for inaccurate—or even unsafe—information to spread quickly.
“Do this.”
“Cut that out.”
“Take these 10 things.”
“Follow this perfect routine.”
That’s not real life.
And this isn’t a trend for me.
This is real-life, long-term, whole-body wellness.
Something that evolves, adjusts, and actually fits into your life—not takes it over.
